Chasing Rains… #Indian #Monsoon 2012   20th August 2012: The  southwest  monsoon was vigorous over Vidarbha and active over Uttarakhand, Chhattisgarh, Odisha, Telangana and south Interior Karnataka during past 24 hours. Rainfall occurred at many   places   over   Himachal   Pradesh,   Vidarbha,   Konkan   &   Goa;   at   a   few   places   over Uttarakhand, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Gangetic West Bengal and northeastern states and at one or two places over rest parts of the country outside Punjab, Rajasthan, east Uttar Pradesh, Bihar and Tamilnadu where weather remained mainly dry.   13th August 2012: The  southwest  monsoon has  been  active  over  Nagaland,  Manipur,  Mizoram &  Tripura, Gangetic West Bengal, east Rajasthan, west Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat region, coastal & south interior Karnataka and Kerala during past 24 hours  ending at 0830 hours IST of yesterday i.e. 12th August. Rainfall has occurred at many places over Himachal Pradesh, east Uttar Pradesh, east Rajasthan, West Bengal   & … Continue reading
