Happy Deepawali : A beautiful morning walk in the flower market…

Deepawali is the festival of lights, sweets, fire-crackers and lots and lots of fun. It is also time to clean up and decorate home. We have this tradition of visiting the flowers market every Diwali morning to get marigold flowers and the leafs of mango tree for home decoration and this year was no exception.

The place was already crowded when we reached at 5.30am 🙂

Not just crowded with people, beautiful flowers of all kinds and colors were also jostling for the attention of buyers…

  1. Happy Diwali to you and your family. I enjoyed your previous, informative post on the significance of Diwali and forwarded it to some of my friends and family. I can’t wait to visit India again. Going after 14 years!!

    • Thank you and you are most welcome. You may find a lot has changed over the last 14 years but most thing are the same – a country and culture which goes back thousands of year doesn’t change much in 1 or 2 decades 🙂 If you are touching New Delhi you are most welcome home for a simple Indian meal – if it is convenient to you, we stay just outside Delhi.
